Pujiang Country Park is located on Puxing Highway (north side of Dazhi River) in Minhang District, Shanghai, and is a suburban metropolitan forest park primarily focused on forest recreation and waterfront leisure.

The park is an autumn-themed park with artistic characteristics, where the countryside, city, art, and autumn scenery are its key features. The area is naturally rich in wild and unspoiled beauty and is complemented by abundant cultural and artistic resources. To the north lies the Shanghai Theatre Academy, to the east is the planned China Film World (provisional name), and to the west is the Changshou Zen Temple. During its construction, the park fully utilizes these cultural resources to provide leisure spaces with artistic characteristics such as forest performances, Zen gardens, art workshops, and horticultural islands for the public.

The country park aims to preserve its existing vegetation to maintain its natural charm. The first phase of the park features a rich variety of plants, with evergreen camphor trees, deciduous ginkgo and Chinese tallow trees, as well as magnolias, cedars, osmanthus, Huangshan pagoda trees, firs, and albizia trees as the main species. There are also nearly a dozen specialty tree species, including soapberry trees for leaf viewing, persimmon, jujube, and loquat trees for fruit viewing, cherry blossoms, azaleas, and begonias for spring, wisteria, hibiscus, and wild roses for summer, and of course, hibiscus and hollyhocks for autumn. There are also bird-attracting trees like holly, firethorn, and Chinese sterculia, as well as aquatic plants, vines, and bamboo. With such a diverse range of plants, entering the park is like stepping into a natural oxygen bar.

**Four Major Highlights of the Park**
- Horticultural Island: Aims to create a visually appealing horticultural landscape, forming a unique horticultural island nestled in the forest. The island features some buildings where visitors can participate in horticultural activities and exhibitions.
- Egret Willow Shore: Preserves existing willows and water systems, introduces egrets and other wildlife, creating a natural atmosphere full of wild charm, and serves as an important ecological protection area and habitat for animals within the park.
- Orchard Picking: Transforms the current young forest into a picking orchard, providing urban dwellers with a place to experience fruit picking and farming.
- Waterfront Camping: Based on the good forest and rich water system on the west side of Puxing Highway, various types of camping sites are set up.
