碧海金沙
Bihai Jinsha, is a large artificial beach in Shanghai. The sand is imported from Hainan, and the seawater is artificially purified. The seabed is also artificially constructed, transforming the typical muddy beaches and murky waters of Shanghai's coast. This beach offers visitors the chance to enjoy the sea without leaving Shanghai.
Upon entering the scenic area, visitors are greeted by golden sands and the vast ocean. The sand here is not coarse like regular yellow sand; it is very fine and soft due to its origin in Hainan, perfect for sand play and catching small crabs. Sunbathing and swimming are of course the "standard programs" at the seaside, but there are also exciting recreational activities such as the Aqua Magic Square, cable water skiing, and water laser bumper boats, allowing visitors to enjoy beachside fun without leaving Shanghai.
Bihai Jinsha has dining options, and visitors can also head to the seafood street outside the scenic area (Haiou Road) for a seafood feast.
