The aquarium of Shanghai Changfeng Ocean World is built 13 meters below the surface of Silver Shovel Lake, with a theme centered around the natural ocean. It houses over 300 species and more than 10,000 marine aquatic creatures. The aquarium is divided into various themed zones such as Dancing with Rays, Touching Star Area, World Tropical Rainforest Wonders, Seahorse Kingdom, Colorful Coral Belt, Deep Sea Secrets, Shark Tunnel, a variety of marine life, lifelike themed scenery, and educational and interactive experiences that perfectly blend humans with nature. The recommended visit duration is about one hour.
Shanghai Changfeng Ocean World has created a new attraction, the Ray Bay - Octonauts Live Experience Pavilion, focusing on the long-term protection and breeding of marine creatures like rays. In collaboration with the well-known IP "Octonauts," it recreates the underwater Octopus Base's real scenes. The pavilion combines iconic animated scenes with realistic deep-sea environments, various species of ray habitats, and high-tech displays and multimedia techniques such as beautiful water curtains, dramatic sound effects, amazing vibration effects, and creative underwater bubbles. This immersive experience allows visitors to feel as if they are at the bottom of the sea. Changfeng Ocean World invites families to explore Ray Bay together, learning about the vast ocean and the importance of protecting marine life and its inhabitants through an educational and entertaining journey.
