The ancient civilization of the Guangfulin Cultural Site has been preliminarily confirmed in scientific archaeology. As early as the late Neolithic period four or five thousand years ago, rice cultivation was widespread in the area, indicating advanced agricultural production methods. In addition, the textile history here is also very ancient, and the site also unearthed pottery spinning wheels from the late Neolithic period.

Entering the ruins, what leaves one lingering is the Guangfulin Cultural Exhibition Hall. The entire exhibition space is set underwater, with pyramidal roofs floating in the Fulin Lake, blending with the surrounding environment and outlining a beautiful picture. The exhibition hall is based on the concept of "Journey of Time and Space" and combines modern audio-visual technology to design scenes such as the archaeological memory of Guangfulin, the evolution of Shanghai's land formation, the arrival of ancestral activities, the formation of urban characteristics, the prosperity of Songjiang County, the rise of Shanghai city, and the journey towards the future. Visitors can experience and read the civilized history of Shanghai in the time tunnel.
